About us

We have created Light4dark with the goal to design unique lamps that are not copies and will not be similar to anything already seen. We defy copies and the copying of someone else’s design.

In doing so, we had to look for our own technical solutions, sometimes invisible to the eye but effective and practical, like for example the fastening of the diffuser to the lamps in the WIRE series using permanent magnets. Or, for example, the use of textile strap in the pendant BIG LAMP series.

We believe that lamps have to be attractive to the eye even when they are turned off and besides that, when the light is on, they have to serve their purpose.

 In the production process we have been looking for the best craftsmen who were willing to create something new, even in smaller batches. And this part of the job, in times of cheap production from the East, when there are less and less craftsmen with years of experience, was not easy.

In short, each of our products has been in the hands of several craftsmen and is hand-made out of the best materials and components.
